The Chainsmokers Concert Leaves 14 People Hospitalized

A concert by The Chainsmokers ended with 14 people hospitalized after emergency crews responded to multiple medical calls at the San Jose show.

The electronic music duo performed in California on September 4 when several concertgoers needed medical attention.

Fourteen people eventually went to hospital, according to reports.

Some patients received treatment for suspected alcohol-related issues, while emergency crews also responded to other medical calls during the event.

The incident did not stop the concert from going ahead, but it created a major emergency response around the venue.

The Chainsmokers, made up of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, have built a huge international following through hits including “Closer,” “Don’t Let Me Down” and “Something Just Like This.”

The San Jose show was part of the duo’s ongoing live performances.

The incident has now become one of the biggest talking points from the concert, with emergency teams dealing with multiple cases during the night.
