Aroma Music has defended her fashion choices, insisting that she has never crossed the line when it comes to how she dresses despite criticism from some people who consider her outfits revealing.
Speaking during an interview on NRG Ignition, Aroma dismissed suggestions that she has embraced overly provocative dressing, arguing that she remains true to the image she had when she first joined the music industry.
I am still innocent as I came in the industry. Honestly, I don’t think I have done anything extra. I’m sorry, but I’m always fully dressed.
During the interview, presenter Henrie showed Aroma one of her music videos that he considered naughty, but the singer disagreed with his assessment.
She maintained that there was nothing excessive about the visuals, pointing out that she was still wearing a top in the video.
Aroma also clarified that nudity is not part of her brand and revealed that her mother follows her activities on social media. She said she is conscious of how her public image could affect her family and career.
My mum does, but like I said, I haven’t gone extra. Even with all the sagas about indecent dressing and nudes that happen in Uganda, you don’t find me. I have never been in those things, so that means I really care about my brand.
