Slick Stuart has a message for anyone looking at other people’s lives and wondering why they seem to have everything figured out: they probably do not.
The Ugandan disc jockey took to X with a reminder that appearances can be deceiving, saying even the people others admire have their own worries, battles and unanswered questions.
Everybody is going through something. Even the people you look up to. Even the ones you think have life figured out. They’ve got their own battles, their own worries, and things they have not figured out yet.
The post also touched on the different journeys people take before reaching where they are, with Slick Stuart pointing out that outsiders rarely know what someone had to overcome to get there.
You do not know what someone had to go through to get where they are, and they do not know what you are fighting through to get where you are going.
His message ultimately came down to one thing: keep moving, even when the results have not arrived yet.
Life is life. Nobody has it all figured out. Keep grinding. Your time will come.
