Duane “Keffe D” Davis is changing his story after a Las Vegas jury found him guilty in the murder of Tupac Shakur.
Days after the verdict, Davis now says he never took part in the killing and insists he was not even in Las Vegas when the rap star died.

In his first major interview since the conviction, Davis told The Hollywood Reporter that he went to a bar near UCLA after the Mike Tyson fight and returned home the following morning.
That account directly clashes with the story prosecutors presented at trial.
Prosecutors argued that Davis helped organize the attack after Tupac’s entourage attacked his nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, at the MGM Grand.
They did not accuse Davis of firing the fatal shots. Instead, they argued that he helped plan the attack and supplied the gun.
Davis now also disputes one of the biggest pieces of evidence prosecutors used against him, his 2019 memoir, “Compton Street Legend.”

Davis says an author asked him for stories and photographs but claims he never read or reviewed the finished book.
He also accused police officers, prosecutors and witnesses of lying about him during the trial.
Man, they lied about me so much. I don’t even know where to begin.
Davis has also revealed that he tried to get Sean “Diddy” Combs and Dr. Dre to help pay his legal fees but failed to reach either man.
Now Davis plans to fight the conviction through an appeal.
A jury convicted him after prosecutors used years of his own interviews and public statements to build their case.
Davis faces a potential life sentence and will return to court for sentencing on October 13.
After years of publicly discussing Tupac’s killing, Davis now wants the courts to believe a very different version of his story.
