Ugandan singer Aroma has addressed romance rumours involving Fangone Forest boss Alien Skin after the two caught attention during a TikTok Live.
The live prompted speculation about whether the two were more than friends, but Aroma has dismissed the idea, saying their interaction was simply a fun moment between friends.
Speaking on Sanyuka Uncut, the “Mpeke” hitmaker questioned why people were quick to assume there was something romantic between them.
I was on TikTok, and Alien Skin joined. It was fun. Why do you assume that so fast? It was just a live, and he is my friend. What you should know as of now is that we are just friends.
Aroma also shed light on her connection to Alien Skin, explaining that she has known him through Chief Medie, whom she described as her uncle and the person who introduced her to music.
You know Chief Medie is in Fangone, and Chief Medie is my uncle. He is the one who brought me into music when I was starting out. So I have met Alien Skin a lot of times, and to me, he has been really good. I felt very happy when he joined my live.
Beyond the relationship rumours, she also discussed whether she would consider making music with Alien Skin, showing no hesitation about the idea.
