Grace Nakimera Wants More After Comeback Concert: “Book Me, Call Me, I Am Available”

Grace Nakimera is back on the big stage, and one comeback concert has already left the Ugandan singer hungry for more.

Nakimera successfully hosted The Power of Grace Live Concert at Kampala Serena Hotel on Friday, September 11, marking her return to live performance after years away from the music scene.

Rather than walking away satisfied after the big night, she says the return to the stage reminded her just how much she missed performing.

The show was successful, but I feel like I want more. I still feel the thirst because I had taken long without being on stage. So guys, please book me, call me, I am available. I want to sing. I feel like I have a debt that I have to pay.

Nakimera made the comments while reflecting on the concert during an appearance on Sanyuka Uncut.

The comeback show also gave her a chance to share the stage with other Ugandan stars, including celebrated guitarist and vocalist Aziz Azion.

The pair delivered a live performance of Nakimera’s hit song Baagala Kiki, giving the audience one of the notable collaborations from the night.

The concert also carried a charitable purpose, with part of the proceeds going toward Nakimera’s Feed the Street charity organisation.

After spending years away from the spotlight, Nakimera now appears ready to make up for lost stage time.

And judging by her message to promoters, she is not waiting around for another comeback invitation.
