Martha Mukisa is loving motherhood so much that she says having one child has already made her think about having more.
The Ugandan Afropop and R&B singer opened up about motherhood during a chat with Daily Soup, sharing an update on her daughter, who is now one year and four months old.
The little girl is already walking, talking and calling her mother “mummy,” something Martha says brings her plenty of joy.
The baby has grown. She is now a year and four months old. She is talking, she is walking, and she is calling me mummy. It really brings joy.
Motherhood, it seems, has also given her a whole new perspective on having children.
I have enjoyed motherhood so much that I fear it might push me to have more children, but to me, it has really been a beautiful journey. I cannot really complain. I just thank God.
Beyond the joy, Martha says having a child has given her another reason to keep pushing in her career.
Being that I now have responsibilities and seeing that I now have to balance a lot of things, my work, my children. That gives me the energy to keep on working and to keep on doing the things that I really love.
Balancing music and motherhood has therefore become part of Martha’s everyday life, with her children giving her even more motivation to pursue the things she loves.
And when it comes to the possibility of expanding her family, she already has a particular title in mind.
