Billionaire Sudhirâs wisdom on how to invest in real estate

Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, recognized by Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) as Ugandaâs top Tax Payer has shared his hindsight on why he believes Real Estate is the real deal which has perseverance through all seasons.
He cautions investors against borrowing to start the real estate business, instead to grow organically.
âAllow some form of organic growth. So long as you have a good amount of cash flow coming in, you mainly need to focus on the right location and the right plan, thatâs all,â Sudhir says adding, âjust invest and plan right.â
The point is, Sudhir says start from where you are and grow upwards.
âFirst, try and grow according to the cash flow you have and are creating. It is probably the best option. Because the truth is said, opportunities come all the time, especially when you have good cash flow. Take those opportunities.â
URA awarded dozens of companies, individuals and government agencies in different categories and the billionaire was a highlight speaker.
Sudhir remains the highest property tax payer in the country and URA has year after year recognized his efforts to create a robust real estate empire. The billionaireâs property companies own more than 300 commercial buildings and continues to be a developer adding to Kampalaâs growing skyline each passing year.

Kit Harington Replaces Nicholas Hoult in Major âHarry Potterâ Casting Shake-Up
HBOâs upcoming âHarry Potterâ series has made a sudden casting change, with English actor Kit Harington, best known for playing Jon Snow in âGame of Thrones,â taking over the role of Gilderoy Lockhart from fellow English actor Nicholas Hoult.
Hoult, known for films including âX-Men,â âThe Menuâ and âSuperman,â had recently joined the project to play the vain and fame-hungry Hogwarts professor.
However, scheduling conflicts reportedly forced him to leave the production.
The role of Lockhart became famous when English actor and filmmaker Kenneth Branagh played the character in the 2002 film âHarry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.â
A Sudden Casting Change
The change comes before audiences have even seen the first season of HBOâs ambitious television adaptation.
Harington now steps in to play Lockhart in the showâs second season, which will adapt âHarry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.â
The character arrives at Hogwarts as its new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, armed with bestselling books, a huge ego and a carefully crafted celebrity image. However, his glamorous reputation hides a very different reality.
From Westeros to Hogwarts
Harington already has some experience with the character. The English actor previously voiced Lockhart in a recent full-cast âHarry Potterâ audiobook production.
Now, he will bring the flamboyant wizard to the screen.
For Harington, the role marks a sharp departure from Jon Snow, the serious and battle-hardened character that made him a global star in âGame of Thrones.â
Instead of battling White Walkers in Westeros, he will head to Hogwarts to play one of the wizarding worldâs most memorable and self-obsessed characters.

Eddy Yawe Promises Fans a Concert in Early 2027
Eddy Yawe says fans who have been asking him to stage a concert will not have to wait much longer.
The multi-talented veteran musician has revealed that he plans to organise a show at the beginning of 2027 after receiving repeated requests from fans.
Many people have been asking me for a concert, but let us wait for next year. At the beginning of the year, I will organise it.
While discussing his music, Yawe also addressed questions about why he has not been performing alongside fellow musician Carol Nantongo, despite the two having songs together.
According to him, there is no bad blood between them.
He explained that collaborating on a song does not mean artists must perform together every time.
Singing a song with someone does not mean you are in prison and have to perform with them every time. There are times when that person is far from you, and you have to improvise.
Yawe also had some advice for young musicians, urging them to focus on producing quality music rather than chasing short-term trends.
He encouraged upcoming artists to create songs that can stand the test of time and remain enjoyable for years.

Miriam Tarinyeba Tusubira, the CEO of Infotrust, and her husband, JB Halera, the CEO of JBâs Tailored Fashionz, say criticism has changed the way they handle some of their charity work.
The popular Ugandan couple has faced accusations of seeking publicity whenever they help people in front of cameras, and they say that is one reason they now keep much of their assistance away from the public eye.
Speaking about the criticism, the two recalled the support they offered to the Ugandan dance group Muwunya Boys and the âKabaka Mwangaâ viral sensation, Luyinda Junior, saying people accused them of showing off on both occasions.
When we helped Kabaka Mwanga and the Muwunya boys, people called it showing off. That is why, nowadays, we help even people who are not in the limelight. We do not even show them on camera.
Miriam and JB say they continue to help many people who are neither public figures nor in the limelight, without bringing cameras along.
For them, the important part is helping from the heart, whether the public sees it or not.
The pair also shared a lighter update about Luyinda, revealing that he could soon introduce his partner to his family.
They joked that people should prepare themselves because they might soon be called upon to support his introduction ceremony.
JB also spoke about his relationship with Miriam, saying their connection goes beyond friendship.
He explained that they are business partners who treat each otherâs businesses as their own and work closely together.
Miriamâs business is my business, and my business is hers. That is why we work hand in hand.

HYBE Launches New Girl Group TUIDE With Debut EP
South Korean entertainment giant HYBE, the company behind global K-pop stars BTS, has officially introduced its newest girl group, TUIDE.
The seven-member group made its debut on Monday, August 24, 2026, with its first EP, âTune & Play,â and lead single, âSun Kiss.â
Meet HYBEâs Newest Group
TUIDE consists of Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Seah, and Yi Hani.
The group marks the first act from ABD, a new HYBE label that focuses on girl groups.
The debut also gives HYBE its first new K-pop girl group launch since ILLIT debuted in March 2024.
One member, Seoyeon, also arrives with a familiar family connection. She is the younger sister of Jihyo, the South Korean singer who leads the popular K-pop group TWICE.
A New Sound Called âSoultronicâ
Rather than following one familiar K-pop formula, TUIDE has introduced what the group calls a âsoultronicâ sound, blending soulful vocals with electronic music influences.
Their five-track debut EP includes âSun Kiss,â the previously released âGRLS,â plus âABD,â âEchoâ and âFlip-Flop Girl.â
Now the seven newcomers face the biggest test of all: turning a highly anticipated debut into a place among K-popâs next major stars.
