Those were the powerful words of Sheebah Karungi as she once again opened up about her long-running fallout with former manager Jeff Kiwa, shedding light on the legal battles, business disagreements, and emotional frustrations surrounding her music career.
Speaking during her podcast, Sheebah made it clear that the dispute between the two is far from over and that she has no intention of backing down.
“There are things that we are still fighting back and forth over. My music, because he wasn’t clear from the word go about the business,” she said.
The singer, who rose to fame under Jeff Kiwa’s management through Team No Sleep (TNS), suggested that cracks in their relationship began long before their highly publicized split.
According to Sheebah, the root of the conflict lies in how business matters were handled behind the scenes.
“The fights, the disagreements, and the legal situations that we are in are because of that,” she explained.
What now makes the battle even more personal, she said, is the amount of sacrifice she invested into building her career.
“It’s my sweat, my tears, my blood,” Sheebah stated passionately.
The “Nakyuka” singer also revealed that motherhood has significantly changed her perspective and strengthened her determination to protect what she has worked for.
“Now I have a son. I am not going to stop until my last breath,” she added.
While Sheebah stopped short of revealing the exact details of the ongoing legal disputes, she emphasized that her biggest concern was professionalism and transparency in handling her career.
“Things were not moving in a professional way, and I needed them to move in a professional way,” she noted.
For years, fans viewed the partnership between Sheebah and Jeff Kiwa as one of the most successful artist-manager relationships in Uganda’s music industry. Under Team No Sleep, Jeff Kiwa helped shape Sheebah into one of Uganda’s biggest music stars, while Sheebah became the face and driving force behind the label’s success.
Together, they built hit songs, sold-out concerts, and one of the most loyal fanbases in the country.
