Besides South African headliner Scott Maphuma failing to show up for the Linus Tattoo Party second edition held last evening at Millennium Park, Lugogo, several fans also raised fresh complaints about ticket scams.
Taking to their TikTok accounts, somepartygoers revealed that they had fallen victim to fraudsters who allegedly sold them fake tickets to the highly publicized event.
According to one reveler, she purchased tickets from a supposed supplier only to be shocked upon arrival at the venue when gate officials informed them that their tickets were invalid.
Left with no alternative, the affected fans were forced to pay again at the entrance in order to access the venue and enjoy the night, effectively making double payments.
The frustrated partygoer later cautioned fellow entertainment lovers against buying tickets from unauthorized dealers, urging them to always purchase passes through official channels communicated by event organizers.
Several other users flooded the comment section sharing similar experiences, noting that the scam affected multiple attendees and was not an isolated incident.
