Panic, Prayers and Relief: Feffe Bussi on emotional Cricket Oval concert moments

Rapper Feffe Bussi opened up about the pressure and anxiety he faced while organizing his recent concert held last weekend at the Cricket Oval, which marked his debut performance at the venue and only the second concert of his musical career.

Like many artistes who organize major shows, Feffe Bussi admitted that the preparations and the actual concert day came with intense pressure and uncertainty.

The rapper revealed that his heart started racing at around 5 PM after clips circulating on social media showed a low turnout of revelers at the venue, something that left him worried about how the concert would eventually unfold.

According to Feffe Bussi, the situation pushed him into prayer alongside his close friend, Pastor Mark, who tried to calm him down during the tense moments.

He also attempted to sleep and ease the pressure, but he could not relax because of the fear of facing criticism.

“I won’t lie to you, when it clocked around 5 PM, my heart started racing when I saw clips from the venue showing few numbers of revelers. I wondered how I was going to face critics. I went into prayers with my friend, Pastor Mark, whom I always move with. So that pressure was there and I respect those who hold shows every year.”

However, his hope was restored after new clips later surfaced online showing a positive turnout at the venue, giving him confidence that the rest of the night would turn out successfully, which it eventually did.
