Salvador apologises to Bruno K after social media fallout – Sqoop

Comedian Patrick “Salvador” Idringi has publicly apologised to singer Bruno K following a social media exchange that sparked heated debate among fans.

The fallout began after Salvador commented under a post in which Bruno K was advocating for justice for a minor he alleged had been exploited. The comedian’s remark did not sit well with the singer, who accused him of mocking a serious issue despite their long-standing relationship.

Bruno K expressed disappointment, questioning why someone he had supported in the past would publicly ridicule him while he was speaking out on behalf of a vulnerable child.

The singer reminded Salvador that he had previously used his platform to promote the comedian’s show, helping him sell tickets out of admiration and respect for his work.

He also questioned Salvador’s reaction, especially given his role as a father, arguing that the matter at hand deserved empathy rather than jokes.

Following the backlash, Salvador publicly admitted that his comment had been unnecessary and made in poor judgment.

Taking responsibility for his actions, the comedian explained that the remark had been intended as banter but acknowledged that it crossed the line considering the seriousness of the issue.

He revealed that he had already deleted the comment and apologised privately out of respect for Bruno K and their relationship.

Salvador went on to praise the singer for his charitable efforts over the years, commending him for consistently helping and uplifting others.

He encouraged Bruno K not to allow criticism or online reactions to discourage him from advocating for people in need, reiterating his apology and asking for forgiveness.

The public exchange has since drawn mixed reactions online, with some fans praising Salvador for taking accountability, while others backed Bruno K’s frustration over the initial comment.

For many observers, the incident served as a reminder of how quickly social media banter can escalate, particularly when sensitive issues are involved.
