Singer Gloria Bugie has revealed that she has never collaborated with fellow female musicians, citing what she describes as unnecessary drama and emotional conflicts among women in the music industry.
Speaking about the ongoing dispute between singers Omega 256 and Cindy Sanyu, Gloria said the situation reinforces her decision to stay away from collaborations with female artists.
According to Gloria, she prefers to avoid what she termed as emotional rollercoasters that often emerge when misunderstandings arise between female musicians.
I really don’t know what happened between them, but I believe it’s best if their managers sorted all this before the release. I don’t have advice for such people, just make research.
The comments come amid a public fallout between Omega 256 and Cindy Sanyu over their collaboration, See You Tonight.
Cindy recently accused Omega of taking the largest share of the song’s revenue despite allegedly funding the entire project. She claimed that she invested in the production and expected a fairer distribution of earnings.
However, Omega 256 dismissed the allegations, challenging Cindy to provide receipts to support her claims. Omega maintained that she was the one who covered the production expenses and insisted that the accusations were unfounded.
