Juliana Kanyomozi says she has never relied on publicity stunts to maintain her place in the music industry.
Speaking on Deep Talk, the celebrated Ugandan vocalist said she has never relied on controversy to stay relevant, choosing instead to let her music speak for itself.

I just try to do the right thing. I try to do what I love. I do not believe in stunts.
Juliana acknowledged that controversy often finds its way into the entertainment industry but argued that not every public dispute originates from the artistes at the centre of it.
She pointed to a past incident in which someone accused her of stealing a song, only for the allegations to later prove baseless.
According to Juliana, some individuals create such claims in an attempt to draw attention to themselves through established artistes.
Despite the industry’s constant evolution, she says her approach has remained unchanged.

My success has come from just doing good music. I have never had to do a stunt to be heard or listened to.
For Juliana, the formula has always been straightforward: focus on the music and let the audience decide, a strategy she credits for her longevity in the industry.
