She started complaining of a severe headache on Friday after attending her daughter’s introduction ceremony. She was first taken to a hospital in Namugongo for treatment, but doctors later referred her to Nakasero Hospital for further medical evaluation.
Lawrence said medical specialists are still conducting tests to determine the cause of the headaches and that the family is awaiting the results.
The development comes after Stecia overcame an earlier health challenge that required specialised treatment in Canada. She underwent treatment there in 2021 and returned to Uganda in 2024 after recovering.
She recovered very well and came back home in good health. That is why this latest development has surprised many of us.
For now, doctors continue to monitor her condition as family members await more information about her diagnosis.
