Shawa’s Father Turns Chicken Chicken’s Mockery Into a Lesson

Comedian Shawa‘s father says years of ridicule taught him a lesson that many people still struggle to understand.

The father addressed recent remarks from content creator Chicken Chicken, who mocked him for his disability.

Instead of expressing anger, he reflected on the challenges he has faced since childhood and the perspective those experiences gave him.

A disability changed his life when he was just three years old. For decades, people mocked him, labelled him, and questioned him because of his condition.

Today, he says those words no longer carry any weight.

I have been called a cripple and many other things since I was a child. After all these years, those words have no power over me anymore.

The father also urged people to stop treating disability as something that only happens to other people.

He noted that life can change without warning and that anyone can face similar challenges.

Anyone can become disabled. A person can be healthy today and tomorrow be involved in an accident. Life can change in a second. Nobody knows what the future holds.

His response transformed a personal insult into a broader conversation about empathy, respect, and life’s uncertainty.
