Mimi Kampala Dismisses ‘Sleep for Collaborations’ Claims

Ugandan singer Mimi Kampala has rubbished claims that female artists must sleep with established musicians to earn collaborations, saying such beliefs belong in the past.

The topic came up as she responded to questions about her collaboration with Pallaso, a project that has sparked speculation among some fans.

Mimi dismissed the rumors, saying artists are not the ones who negotiate collaborations.

It is management’s role to help you get collaborations without the artists getting involved.

She maintained that proper management, not personal relationships, opens doors for musicians looking to work together.

The conversation later shifted to another rumor that has followed her for months, this time involving fellow singer Beenie Gunter.

Mimi insisted the two are only friends and rejected claims that she had anything to do with the end of his previous relationship.

While putting the speculation to rest, she revealed that fans should expect more music from the pair because they have several songs ready for release.

Expect seeing more of me and Bennie Gunter because we have many collaborations.
