Lauren Bennett, G.R.L. Star and Voice Behind LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” Dies at 37

The music industry is mourning the loss of singer Lauren Bennett, the former G.R.L. member and featured vocalist on LMFAO‘s global hit “Party Rock Anthem.” She died at the age of 37.

Bennett’s former G.R.L. bandmates confirmed the heartbreaking news in an emotional social media tribute, remembering her for her kindness, talent, and vibrant spirit. They did not disclose the cause of her death.

Lauren’s death marks another heartbreaking chapter for G.R.L.

In 2014, the group lost fellow member Simone Battle. The tragedy deeply affected the band, which later released the tribute song “Lighthouse” in her honor.

Fans have since flooded social media with tributes, celebrating Bennett’s powerful vocals and her contributions to some of the biggest pop hits of the early 2010s.

Many remembered her performances with G.R.L. and her unforgettable role in “Party Rock Anthem,” one of the decade’s defining songs.
