Ugandan gospel singer Baby Gloria, real name Gloria Mulungi Senyonjo, and his husband, Jonas Mbaleka, welcomed their first child on Saturday 1st August 2026.
The good news was broken by Baby Gloria’s mother, Betty Nakibuuka, a gospel singer. She revealed that the pair are now parents to a healthy baby girl.
Via social media, Betty Nakibuka shared a video showing a cot, with the newborn inside, and her father looking on from a distance, and added the caption;
It’s a baby girl, hallelujah.
Baby Gloria and Jonas Mbaleka have yet to share the news, but the singer shared a video of her pregnant self on her social media on Saturday and revealed it showed her last days pregnant.
Online, netizens have showered the couple with congratulatory messages, wishing the baby a healthy and happy life.
