MC Kats has revealed that the entertainment industry has drastically changed, and social values, talent, and morals are no longer held high, making actual talent frustrated and pushed out of the system.
While on the LXS podcast with Dr. Mich Egwang, MC Kats noted how talent was the main factor that determined if someone became a star.
In comparison to today, Kats believes a lot has changed for the worse and stars are determined by money, technical know-how, and their influence on the sexual network.
Right now it’s about money, technical know-who, who you’re sleeping with, who you know. Back then you had to be talented.
MC Kats went on to highlight how obscenity has now become a major avenue for media personalities and celebrities looking to grow their numbers, and they are increasingly unbothered by how society perceives them as long as their views and numbers on social media are growing.
Obscenity: if you can come off unabashed, when you don’t care even if you say a big word, you’re gonna run like dynamite. You don’t care whether your sextape comes out, as long as you’re building numbers. Back then we had church and parents on us; we had values.
