Prima Kadarshi says Lydia Jazmine’s poor branding is costing her the music throne

Socialite and entrepreneur Prima Kadarshi has criticised Lydia Jazmine’s branding, arguing that the singer is hurting her own career through poor public presentation.

Prima made the remarks during a TikTok Live following Kalifah AgaNaga’s low-turnout concert, where she also addressed why she believes many Ugandan artists are struggling.

According to Prima, several musicians are failing because they have not invested in proper branding and strategic planning. She singled out Lydia Jazmine’s recent press conference, describing it as poorly organised despite the singer’s many years in the music industry.

She will never get the throne because what was that? Was that a press conference really? For someone like Lydia who has been in the game for long… Lydia is my friend but that was poor.

Prima went on to say that Jazmine, whom she described as “very old” in the industry, needs a professional team to improve her branding and avoid similar missteps.

She added that artists who continue to overlook strategy should not expect successful concerts.

It is very shameful to Ugandans, you need to do better. That’s why the concerts are going to flop. Stop investing in those events if you aren’t strategic. You’d rather buy a plot and build because that’s what our musicians can do.
