AgaNaga Claims Nassanga Festival Earned Shs100 Million, Hits Back at Critics

Kalifah AgaNaga says critics got it wrong after questioning the success of his Nassanga Festival Mukibira held on Saturday, August 1, at Forest Resort Lweza.

The singer claims the concert attracted about 2,000 revelers and generated a profit of Shs100 million despite doubts about its turnout.

According to AgaNaga, VIP tables sold for Shs3 million and Shs5 million, making the event one of his biggest achievements.

He also addressed criticism surrounding his hit song, Nassanga, claiming some people, including promoters, wanted both the song and the concert to fail.

AgaNaga says the festival’s success has convinced him that musicians can organize profitable concerts when they believe in their music and their supporters.

He also revealed plans to establish a Musicians and Promoters Association to help artists organize their own events.
