Kalifah AgaNaga has dismissed claims that his recent concert was a flop, insisting the event was financially successful and generated at least Shs100 million in revenue. The singer says social media users rushed to judge the event using photos taken before he had even stepped onto the stage, arguing that the venue later filled up with fans.
Explaining the show’s earnings, AgaNaga said table sales alone contributed a significant amount. According to him, VIP tables were priced at Shs1 million, Shs3 million and Shs5 million.
He said selling 10 tables at Shs3 million, five tables at Shs1 million and four tables at Shs5 million already brought in substantial revenue before factoring in ordinary ticket sales. He added that tickets were sold at Shs10,000, Shs20,000 and Shs30,000, claiming that about 2,000 people attended the event.

The singer also claimed that negative reports about the concert were fueled by jealousy following the resurgence of his hit song Nassanga.
He further argued that some promoters were unhappy because he chose to organize the concert independently instead of working through them.
AgaNaga said his successful self-promoted show proves that artists with trending music can organize their own events and earn directly, describing it as a business model that gives musicians greater control over their careers.
