Lydia Jazmine reveals how she handles public criticism and attacks

Lydia Jazmine has opened up about how she deals with criticism and public attacks, revealing that she prefers staying silent rather than responding in the heat of the moment.

Speaking on the Mind Your Head podcast, the singer said experience has taught her that many people speak out of anger and later regret their words.

According to Jazmine, she has faced moments where she felt compelled to defend herself or explain situations that were being discussed publicly. However, she has learned to resist the urge to react immediately, believing that responding emotionally often does more harm than good.

You aren’t gonna take them back, they are out there so I have had those situations, very bad situations where I feel like I want to go and say something back or explain myself but I say no.

She added that she trusts her supporters to distinguish truth from rumors, insisting that genuine fans eventually recognize what is real. She believes that the truth always comes to light, regardless of how long it takes, making it unnecessary to engage in every public dispute.

Instead of confronting critics, Jazmine channels her emotions into her music. She revealed that whenever she is overwhelmed by anger or frustration, she heads to the studio to express those feelings through songwriting and singing.

I let my music speak. If I am so angry I’ll go to studio and sing about it and cry about it and let it go. Not every battle needs a response, a fight. I feel like sometimes if you keep quiet, you win.
