The long wait to see “Tangled” in live action has taken a big step forward.
Disney has released the first look at the upcoming remake, with Teagan Croft taking on the iconic role of Rapunzel alongside Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider and Kathryn Hahn as Mother Gothel.
At Disney’s D23 showcase, fans got their first footage of Croft in character, including a glimpse of Rapunzel’s signature long blonde hair. Hahn also appeared as Mother Gothel, giving audiences an early taste of her version of the character.
Caitríona Balfe has meanwhile joined the cast as Queen Arianna, Rapunzel’s mother.
Elliot Cowan will play King Frederic, adding the royal family to the growing cast.
The movie, directed by Michael Gracey, is set to arrive in cinemas on March 31, 2028.
Until then, fans have their first glimpse of what Rapunzel’s world will look like beyond animation.
