The 2026 FIFA World Cup ended nearly a month ago, but Burna Boy and Shakira‘s “Dai Dai” is still sitting at the top of the global music charts.
The World Cup anthem has now spent five consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and eight straight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.
“Dai Dai” recorded 44.1 million streams and 6,000 sales worldwide between August 7 and August 13, according to Luminate.
The latest run also gives Burna Boy his first No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200.
The song has clearly outlived the tournament that introduced it to millions of fans, continuing to dominate nearly a month after Spain beat Argentina in the World Cup final.
For Burna Boy and Shakira, “Dai Dai” is proving that its World Cup moment was only the beginning.
