Dwayne Johnson has joined Disney royalty, but his daughters may have been the happiest people in the family.
The actor became a Disney Legend during the 2026 Disney Legends Awards, earning one of the company’s highest honours for his work with the entertainment giant.
Johnson has played Maui, starred in “Jungle Cruise” and built a long relationship with Disney. But when he spoke about the honour afterwards, he had another benefit in mind.

Johnson jokingly told People that becoming a Disney Legend means his children could get Disney park access for life. His daughters, unsurprisingly, were very interested in that part of the news.
The honour also carried a more personal meaning for Johnson.
During the ceremony, he celebrated his daughter Simone’s birthday and reflected on his experiences as a father, adding an emotional family moment to what had already become a major career milestone.
Disney gave The Rock a legendary title.
