Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are not ready to leave Zootopia.
Disney has officially confirmed that “Zootopia 3” is on the way, bringing the beloved rabbit cop and her fox partner back for another adventure.
The announcement came during Disney’s D23 event, where the studio also confirmed the return of Ginnifer Goodwin and Ke Huy Quan.
Disney has not revealed the full plot, but it has already teased a new addition to the world of Zootopia, with birds set to enter the picture.
The confirmation comes as the franchise continues to expand, giving Disney another chance to return to one of its most successful animated worlds.
When “Zootopia” first arrived, it introduced fans to Judy, a determined rookie police officer, and Nick, a smooth-talking fox who reluctantly became her partner.
Their unlikely friendship became the heart of the story.
Now, after taking audiences back to the city, Disney is preparing another trip.
