The Tooro Kingdom has released an official statement providing an update on the health condition of Omukama Oyo Nyimba Rukidi IV.
According to the statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, His Majesty is currently in a critical condition, with the Kingdom calling upon the people of Tooro and the public at large to remain calm and keep the King in their prayers during this difficult time.
The communication also dispels earlier reports claiming that the Omukama had passed away, clarifying that he is still alive but in critical condition.
“OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION. From the Prime Minister’s Office. To all the people of Tooro and the public, this is to inform you that King Oyo is currently in a critical condition. At this difficult time, we humbly ask the people of Tooro and our friends to keep His Majesty in your prayers.”
