Singer Sheebah Karungi has stepped into the public fallout between Crysto Panda and Gloria Bugie, asking the embattled musician to walk away from the confrontation despite the hurt and anger surrounding their exchange.
Sheebah’s intervention followed remarks by Gloria Bugie that brought Crysto Panda’s personal losses into their ongoing disagreement, including the deaths of his child and parents.
The singer strongly condemned the decision to use such painful experiences in a public argument, arguing that grief should never become ammunition in a dispute.
“If you are the kind of human being who can use someone’s greatest loss of a mother, a father, or a child as a weapon to attack them, then you are an evil spirit,” Sheebah said.
“Whatever differences you two have, you simply don’t do something like that. Fix your heart’s posture, young girl,” she added.
While Sheebah came to Panda’s defence, she also urged him not to allow the confrontation to drag him further into a public battle.
She revealed that she had personally called him the previous day because she wanted him to end the exchange, describing him as someone she knows to be a decent person.
“I called you yesterday because I genuinely wanted you to stop because I know who you are, a decent human being,” she said.
Sheebah acknowledged that Panda had legitimate reasons to feel angry and wounded, but argued that responding publicly could only prolong the situation.
“I know you’re angry and hurt, and I understand why, but please, leave this woman to God. Some things are better left in His hands,” she advised.
The Nkwatako singer also addressed the often repeated idea that men should not engage women in public confrontations.
While agreeing with the principle, she said it should not be interpreted as a reason to tolerate personal attacks that cross basic boundaries of decency.
“And I understand the whole point of, ‘A man does not fight with a woman.’ Yeah, yeah, yeah. I understand that. But there is a limit to everything,” she said.
Sheebah’s message ultimately centred on humanity rather than gender, insisting that being a man does not make Panda any less deserving of empathy or respect.
“Panda is a human being too. His humanity doesn’t disappear simply because he is a man,” she said.
The singer ended by calling on both parties to exercise restraint, acknowledging that disagreements and hurt are inevitable but should not lead people into deliberately cruel territory.
“You can disagree with someone, be angry, be hurt, naye banange there are some lines decent human beings simply do not cross. Period,” she said.
