Drake has pushed his Spotify numbers into territory no other rapper has reached.
ChartMasters now lists the Canadian rapper at more than 140 billion streams across all credits, making him the first artist to cross that mark.
Drake’s total stands at approximately 140.1 billion streams. About 104.8 billion come from songs where he is the lead artist, while featured appearances account for another 35.3 billion.
His closest competitors are not even halfway to the same total.
Kanye West has about 66.7 billion Spotify streams, while Travis Scott sits at roughly 66.4 billion. Eminem follows with around 65.7 billion.
That puts Drake’s total at more than double the figure of each rapper immediately behind him.
The numbers also show the importance of Drake’s collaborations to his streaming dominance. More than 35 billion of his streams come from tracks where another artist receives the lead credit.
Still, his own catalogue accounts for the majority of the total.
With the 140 billion mark now behind him, Drake has created a Spotify gap that his closest rap rivals have a long way to close.
