Andrew Garfield is once again denying that he will return as Spider-Man in Marvel’s upcoming “Avengers: Doomsday.”
The British-American actor, best known for playing Peter Parker in “The Amazing Spider-Man” films, addressed the rumors at the Los Angeles premiere of his new film “The Uprising.”
When asked directly if he appears in “Avengers: Doomsday,” Garfield kept his answer short.
“I’m not,” he said.
Garfield Has Denied Spider-Man Rumors Before
The denial has already sparked interest because Garfield played a similar game with fans before.
He repeatedly denied appearing in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” before the movie eventually revealed him alongside Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire.
So when Garfield faced another question about his latest Marvel denial, he left the door slightly open.
Smiling, the actor added, “You’ll find out, I suppose, one way or another.”
Garfield has not confirmed a return as Spider-Man, but his playful response is likely to keep the speculation alive.
“Avengers: Doomsday” is scheduled to hit cinemas on December 18, 2026, giving fans only a few more months to find out whether Garfield is really staying away from the Marvel blockbuster.
