Bad Bunny Wins Seven Emmys for Super Bowl Halftime Show

Bad Bunny is officially an Emmy winner, and he did it in a huge way.

The Puerto Rican superstar’s Super Bowl LX halftime show won all seven categories in which it received nominations at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys.

The performance won Outstanding Variety Special (Live), making it only the third Super Bowl halftime show to win the category.

It also picked up awards for music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, technical direction and camerawork, and directing.

That seven-award haul made Bad Bunny’s halftime show the most-awarded nominee of the night.

The victory also gave Bad Bunny his first Emmy.

His success extended to Jay-Z, who served as an executive producer on the halftime show and also collected another Emmy through the performance.

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl appearance had already become one of the biggest music moments of the year.

Now it has an Emmy record attached to it.

The achievement adds another major award to Bad Bunny’s growing international career and shows just how far his Super Bowl performance reached beyond music.
