North West had both of her famous parents in the audience as she took a major step in her music career.
The 13-year-old performed her first headline concert at The Vic Theatre in Chicago on September 5, with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West both showing up to support her.
Kim and Kanye arrived separately, but both watched their daughter perform.
Kim sat in the VIP section while Kanye filmed North on stage.
North released her debut EP “N0rth4evr” in May and has been making it clear that music means more to her than simply having famous parents.
She previously told Dazed that performing her music feels “fun, relieving and exciting.”
The teenager has also pushed back against the idea that she should wait before starting her career.
It is like, nah, this is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life.
Her Chicago concert also created a rare public moment for Kim and Kanye, who divorced in 2022 after nearly eight years of marriage.
For North, however, the night belonged to her.
She now has her first headline show behind her and a growing music career of her own.
