Zahara Totto says she can spend as much as $500 (approximately Shs 1.8 million) in a single day, and she has no plans to cut corners when it comes to maintaining the lifestyle she has chosen.
The Ugandan media personality gave a glimpse into her spending habits during a chat with YouTuber Shalom 256, explaining that she does not repeat outfits and has several regular expenses linked to how she lives and communicates.
Zahara revealed that the phone she uses costs about UGX 9 million and needs to have mobile data at all times. She does not move around with a router, instead relying on her phone for her online activities.
She also prefers making direct telephone calls instead of using online calling services such as WhatsApp, meaning she spends money on airtime as well.
I spend $500 every day. I do not repeat clothes. The phone I hold uses a lot of data. I do not move with routers.
For Zahara, these expenses come with the lifestyle she has chosen, much like the cost of maintaining an expensive vehicle after buying it.
She used a Range Rover to make her point, arguing that people should understand the financial demands that come with owning something expensive.
