TikTok personality Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden, has passed away following complications after undergoing a bone marrow transplant.
News of his passing was announced on Tuesday morning by fellow TikToker Sheilah Price, before other close friends and associates confirmed the sad news.
Jayden had been battling serious health complications linked to sickle cell disease, a condition that led to a major fundraising campaign by fellow content creators, friends and other well-wishers to support his treatment.
In July, it was reported that Jayden had successfully undergone a bone marrow transplant in India, where he had travelled for treatment, and was recovering from the procedure.
However, in recent weeks, reports emerged that his health had deteriorated and that he had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), with media personality Kasuku also sharing updates about his condition.
Despite the efforts to save his life, Jayden has now passed away, leaving his family, friends, fellow content creators, and fans mourning his loss.
