  • One Minute Bed Minton Men in Trouble, CDF Jokes!

One Minute Bed Minton Men in Trouble, CDF Jokes!

Uganda’s military chief Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has sent social media into a frenzy after joking that men who cannot last more than one minute in bed could be arrested and jailed.

In a series of posts on X, Muhoozi declared that men who fail to last beyond one minute during sex and cannot impregnate a woman would be treated as “useless men” and targeted for arrest.

“If you can’t last more than 1 minute and impregnate a woman we are going to arrest you! You are a useless man!” Muhoozi posted.

    He did not stop there.

The Chief of Defence Forces went on to announce a supposed two-month deadline for the men to surrender themselves.

“Known/identified useless men must report to the nearest Police Station in 2 months. From there they will be transported to a Government prison,” he wrote.

Muhoozi later doubled down, warning: “You are laughing but I’m giving exactly 2 months for useless men to hand themselves over peacefully.”

He also joked that men who “consistently do nothing with women” would face a one-year prison term.

“And for useless men who consistently do nothing with women. We are introducing a 1 year prison term,” he posted.

The bizarre threats then took a tax twist.

Muhoozi joked that women should begin timing their partners and that any man who fails to last one minute would have to pay Shs100,000 to the woman and another Shs100,000 to the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).

“Women should start timing their men. If they don’t finish 1 minute they owe you 100,000 shillings. They also owe URA 100,000 shillings,” he said.

He later dubbed the imaginary levy the “Struggle tax”, writing in Luganda: “Tuli mu Sturrraaggllle tax!”

The posts appeared to be a humorous exchange rather than an announcement of an actual Government policy.

There is no known Ugandan law requiring men to meet a particular sexual-performance time, and there is no Government tax based on how long a person lasts during sexual intercourse.

But Muhoozi deliberately used the language of Government enforcement, repeatedly invoking the Police, prisons and URA as he built up the joke.

The CDF also dragged food into the unusual conversation.

He said some of his civilian friends had advised him that eating matooke and beans, rather than cornflakes and milk, could help men “in some other departments of life.”

“It is said apparently, bazungu are collapsing in,” he added.

He followed that with another food-related punchline:

“Certainly, you can’t impregnate a woman on cornflakes and milk. No way.”

Muhoozi then announced, again in a humorous tone, that the intake of kalo for soldiers would be increased immediately.

“We are increasing the intake of Kalo for our soldiers immediately,” he posted.

The series of posts quickly created a mixture of amusement, debate and disbelief online, with the CDF’s comments attracting attention because of his senior position in the country’s security establishment.

Muhoozi is not only Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces, but also overseer of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) and an increasingly prominent political figure.

His social-media statements therefore regularly attract wider public attention than those of an ordinary social-media user.

The latest remarks also come at a particularly politically active moment for Muhoozi.

He publicly declared that he intends to contest for President of Uganda in the 2031 general elections.

His political ambitions have since been formally amplified by PLU, with Executive Secretary and Kasambya County MP Daudi Kabanda announcing that the organisation had begun mobilising support for Muhoozi’s 2031 bid.

The contrast between the serious political developments surrounding Muhoozi and his latest playful posts has once again shown his unconventional use of social media.

Jacob Omutuuze Names the Two Types of Women He Would Not Date

Jacob Omutuuze has opened up about his dating preferences, revealing two types of women he says he would not date.

The Ugandan DJ and media personality shared the revelation during an appearance on Sanyuka Uncut, where he discussed the physical features that would rule out a woman as a potential partner for him.

I cannot date a light-skinned woman, neither can I date a woman with tattoos.

The revelation offers a rare glimpse into Jacob’s personal tastes, especially since he has largely kept his own love life away from the public eye.

He has, however, been in a relationship for seven years and has revealed plans to take things to the next level before the end of 2026.

Jacob plans to hold an introduction ceremony with his longtime partner, giving fans a rare look at the woman he has kept private for years.

Three Killed as Truck Rams Into Boda Boda Stage

Three people have died after a Canter truck lost control and crashed into a boda-boda stage along Kafumbe Mukasa Road in Kisenyi, Kampala.

The fatal crash happened at around 11:00am today, involving Canter truck UAX 513N.

Police said the truck driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle before it veered into a stage where boda-boda riders were parked.

Two boda-boda riders died instantly at the scene.

Another pedestrian who was seriously injured in the crash was rushed for medical attention but later succumbed to the injuries, bringing the death toll to three.

The truck driver reportedly fled the scene immediately after the crash but was later arrested by police.

He is currently being held at Old Kampala Central Police Station as investigations continue into the circumstances that led to the deadly collision.

Police have urged motorists to exercise maximum caution, particularly when driving through busy and congested areas.

Motorists have also been reminded to maintain controlled speeds and ensure their vehicles are in proper mechanical condition to prevent avoidable crashes.

The latest crash adds to growing concerns over road safety in Kampala, where busy roads, pedestrian activity and boda-boda stages can create high-risk conditions when motorists lose control of their vehicles.

Police have appealed to all road users to exercise greater care and observe traffic regulations.

Jacob Omutuuze Explains Why He Has Kept His Seven-Year Relationship Private

Jacob Omutuuze has kept his love life largely away from the public eye, but the Ugandan media personality has now revealed why he has chosen to keep his longtime partner a mystery.

Jacob, who has been with his partner for seven years, opened up about their relationship during an appearance on Sanyuka Uncut.

He explained that he avoids putting her on social media because what people see or encounter online can sometimes draw attention to things they may later start viewing as faults in their partners.

I cannot show my wife to the public because social media can make you start seeing faults in your wife after staying with her for long, yet she has been perfect.

For Jacob, keeping the relationship away from social media helps him avoid outside influences that could change the way he sees his partner.

He has nevertheless revealed plans to officially unveil his mystery lover and formalize their relationship before the end of 2026.

Suno Hit With Nearly $100 Million Copyright Lawsuit

AI music company Suno is facing another copyright lawsuit after Gerencia 360 Music accused it of using copyrighted music to train its AI.

The independent regional Mexican record label and publisher filed the lawsuit on August 31, claiming Suno took music from its catalogue and used it to generate Spanish-language songs without permission.

Gerencia 360 is seeking nearly $100 million in damages.

Its catalogue includes works by artists such as Adriel Favela, Javier Rosas, Giovanny Ayala, Cornelio Vega y su Dinastia, and Noel Torres.

Suno did not comment on the lawsuit when contacted by reporters.

    Another Problem for Suno

The case adds to Suno’s growing copyright troubles.

In July, a German court found that Suno had infringed copyrights by using protected songs to train its AI system in a case brought by music licensing organisation GEMA.

In the US, Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and Capitol Records have also sued Suno, accusing the company of copying copyrighted recordings to train its AI models.

Suno has argued that its AI training falls under fair-use protections.

The latest lawsuit adds fresh pressure as the music industry continues to challenge how AI companies use artists’ work.

Museveni tells security officers to let his Bazukulu enjoy the nightlife – Sqoop

President Yoweri Museveni has told security officers and Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) to stop imposing unnecessary restrictions on bars and nightlife, saying his “Bazukulu” should be allowed to enjoy themselves.

Speaking during a security address in Nakasero, Kampala, Museveni questioned why officials should interfere with young Ugandans who are peacefully enjoying their time in bars.

The President’s remarks come amid a renewed debate over attempts by some local authorities to enforce early closing hours on bars and entertainment venues.

Museveni said Ugandans should be able to enjoy the peace and freedom in the country without unnecessary interference, cautioning security officials against excessive restrictions on nightlife.

His comments could offer some relief to Uganda’s entertainment and hospitality industry, which has repeatedly faced uncertainty over bar operating hours and enforcement measures issued by local authorities.

The debate over nightlife restrictions has also placed bar owners, event organisers and entertainment promoters in a difficult position, particularly when directives from different authorities appear to conflict.

Museveni’s latest message, however, puts the emphasis on security without unnecessarily disrupting people who are peacefully enjoying themselves.

For the country’s nightlife crowd, the President’s message was simple: let the Bazukulu enjoy the party.

  • IGG to new officers: Uphold integrity, professionalism and teamwork

IGG to new officers: Uphold integrity, professionalism and teamwork

JINJA — The Inspector General of Government (IGG), Lady Justice Naluzze Aisha Batala, has urged newly recruited officers at the Inspectorate of Government (IGG) to uphold integrity, professionalism and teamwork in the execution of their duties.

The IGG made the call while welcoming the new officers during an induction training programme at the Civil Service College Uganda in Jinja.

The five-day training, which commenced on August 31, 2026, is aimed at equipping the newly recruited officers with a deeper understanding of the Inspectorate’s mandate, values, systems and professional expectations.

Congratulating the officers upon their appointment, Lady Justice Naluzze reminded them that joining the Inspectorate comes with a significant responsibility because of its critical role in promoting good governance, transparency, accountability, integrity and the fight against corruption.

“You have not simply joined another public institution. You have joined an institution whose work directly affects the lives of citizens and the quality of public service delivery in our country,” she said.

The IGG emphasised that integrity, professionalism and teamwork must be at the centre of the officers’ work, noting that the public expects Inspectorate officers to be fair, professional and impartial in the execution of their duties.

“The public expects us to be fair. They expect us to be professional. They expect us to act without fear or favour. Treat your colleagues with respect, share knowledge and learn from one another,” she said.

Lady Justice Naluzze also urged the officers to take personal responsibility for their work by observing punctuality, meeting deadlines, maintaining proper records, protecting official information and adhering to established procedures.

She reminded them that the ultimate purpose of the Inspectorate is to serve the people of Uganda, stressing that their work can have a direct impact on public service delivery and national development.

The IGG further encouraged the officers to embrace continuous learning and professional development, particularly as the nature of corruption continues to evolve and advances in technology create new opportunities for both improved service delivery and abuse.

She challenged the new officers to become agents of positive change within the Inspectorate and continuously seek innovative and effective ways of serving citizens.

Meanwhile, Ms. Savia Mugwanya, Commissioner at the Civil Service College Uganda and an Appointments Board Member of the Inspectorate of Government representing the Ministry of Public Service, welcomed the IGG to the college and commended the Inspectorate for organising the induction programme.

Ms. Mugwanya urged the newly recruited officers to make full use of the knowledge and skills acquired during the training and challenged them to become exemplary public officers in the execution of their duties.

DJ Robbo Ranx joins Kevin Lyttle as Serendipity Summer Splash headliner – Sqoop

Kampala’s party calendar is getting a Caribbean boost with UK-based Jamaican international DJ Robbo Ranx confirmed as the latest major name on the line-up for the Serendipity Summer Splash Street Party.

Robbo Ranx will join global soca star Kevin Lyttle as the international headliners at the outdoor street party scheduled for September 13, 2026, at Guvnor Streetside.

Known for his influence on the UK dancehall scene and international airwaves, Robbo Ranx is expected to bring his high-energy dancehall sound and Caribbean party spirit to Kampala when he takes over the decks.

His addition gives the event a second major international attraction alongside Lyttle, whose global hit Turn Me On remains a defining soca anthem.

The organisers are promising a full-day-to-night experience, with the event starting as a daytime carnival before transitioning into a street rave as the evening sets in.

Robbo Ranx will share the decks with Uganda’s top DJs, creating a mix of international dancehall, soca and local party sounds.

The event will be hosted by socialites Ethan Kavuma and Celine Komahangi, who are expected to guide revellers through the different stages of the celebration.

With two international names now confirmed, the Serendipity Summer Splash is positioning itself as more than a conventional concert, leaning into the street-party format to create an experience that runs from afternoon into the night.

For those planning to attend, organisers have set online tickets at Shs70,000, available through Quicket, while tickets purchased at the venue will cost Shs150,000. VVIP tables have been priced at Shs2m.

The event is expected to draw a mix of dancehall, soca and nightlife fans, with the combination of Robbo Ranx and Kevin Lyttle giving the street party a distinctly Caribbean flavour.

With Robbo Ranx bringing the dancehall energy and Kevin Lyttle carrying the soca sound, Kampala could be in for a serious Caribbean takeover come September 13.

  • Nissi Makes Bold Claim About Her Singing Compared to Burna Boy

Nissi Makes Bold Claim About Her Singing Compared to Burna Boy

Nissi may share a famous surname with Burna Boy, but she is confident she has an edge over her brother in one important part of music.

The Nigerian artist says she is a better singer than the Grammy-winning star, and claims Burna Boy agrees with her.

I am better than Burna Boy at singing and almost everything. He is only better than me at rapping. We both actually agreed on the fact that I was a better singer.

Nissi has been building her own career since 2016, when she released “Pay Attention” as her debut single.

Her musical journey has since included collaborations with Olamide and Fireboy DML, as well as several songs and projects.

Away from the studio, however, Nissi has another impressive side to her career.

She was part of the Jaguar Land Rover engineering team that designed and assembled the 2023 Range Rover.

She also designed the 2022 Havana Club X Burna, which won the Most Innovative Product award at Paris Packaging Week 2023.

So while Burna Boy may have the bigger name and, according to Nissi, the better rap skills, she believes singing is one department where her brother has to give her the crown.

  • Bruno K Has a Message for People Who Mistake Wealth for Class

Bruno K Has a Message for People Who Mistake Wealth for Class

Bruno K has a message for anyone who thinks an expensive lifestyle automatically makes someone classy: money and class are not the same thing.

The Ugandan singer took to social media to reflect on how people judge others by their cars, clothes, homes and the places they can afford to visit.

But he believes those things only show what a person can buy.

There is a difference between classy and expensive.

Bruno K said some of the classiest people he has met had very little money, while some wealthy people lacked the character he associates with genuine class.

Some of the classiest people I have ever met had very little money, and some of the richest had absolutely no class. Because class has absolutely nothing to do with how much money you have, and I think we’ve forgotten that.

He said real class comes through in everyday behaviour, especially when someone is angry, challenged or denied what they want.

It also means knowing when to apologise, when to keep quiet and when to walk away from an argument instead of trying to win it.

    bruno k grief

Bruno K also singled out the habit of making other people feel small as one of the clearest signs that someone lacks class.

And most importantly, it is never needing to make someone else feel small so you can feel big.

His argument comes down to what money can and cannot buy.

You can buy expensive clothes. You can buy expensive cars. You can buy expensive tables at expensive restaurants, but you cannot walk into a store and buy character.

And Bruno K had one final distinction for his followers to consider:

Money tells you what they can afford. Class tells you who they are.
