Fans of controversial artist Alien Skin have urged him to be a little more careful with his life following a motorbike accident.
While trying to execute a one-wheel motorcycle stunt, Alien Skin, real name Patrick Mulwana, fell off his bike in one of the videos that has since gone viral.
In another video, the Fangone Forest boss is seen receiving first aid from a doctor to nurse injuries on his shoulder and back.
Netizens have criticised the singer for not being extra cautious with his life, pointing out the need for him to embrace more protective gear while riding on the bike rather than his preferred fashion choice of a vest and no helmet.
Alien Skin loves to put on a show on his sports bikes and sports cars, but he might need to heed his fans’ advice and be a little more cautious.
Opposition politician Medard Lubega Ssegona has raised concerns about leadership within the opposition following the reported departure of Robert Kyagulanyi from Uganda.
Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine and president of the National Unity Platform, announced over the weekend that he had fled into exile, citing fears for his safety after spending more than two months in hiding.
In a message shared on social media, he claimed security forces had been searching for him but failed to locate him because members of the public shielded him.
Reacting to the development, Ssegona said the move has left the opposition appearing disorganised and without clear leadership.
“The entire Opposition seems to be leaderless. Now that there is an acting President for the leading opposition party, let’s see what she does,” Ssegona said while appearing on NBS TV this morning.
He noted that Kyagulanyi is not the first opposition figure to leave the country, drawing comparisons with Kizza Besigye.
“Hon. Kyagulanyi is not the first Opposition leader to flee the country. Dr. Besigye in the past also fled the country. The difference is that Dr. Besigye’s group remained united behind him,” he added.
Ssegona also reflected on his own experience during a past political crisis, revealing that he had once been advised to leave the country for his safety but chose otherwise.
“During the Kayunga crisis, a senior military officer advised me to flee the country and assured me that he would provide a safe passage for me. I didn’t take that route. I instead decided to drive to CID and report myself,” he said.
While acknowledging the risks Kyagulanyi may have faced, Ssegona stressed that such a decision should be clearly communicated.
“If Hon. Kyagulanyi believed that his life was under threat, he shouldn’t experiment with his life. If he is going into exile, he should declare that he is going into exile,” he said.
Kyagulanyi, who came second in the 2026 presidential election with 2,741,238 votes (24.75 per cent) against 7,946,772 votes (71.65 per cent) for Yoweri Museveni, has maintained that his departure is not a sign of surrender.
He said the move is part of a broader strategy to push for political change, including engaging the international community and advocating for sanctions against the Ugandan government and its alleged supporters.
According to Kyagulanyi, operating from abroad will allow him and his supporters in the diaspora to better organise and plan future political action.
In his absence, the party’s deputy president, Lina Zedriga, who was recently released from prison, has assumed the role of acting president.

The 2026 I&M Bank Katogo Golf Series opener 19th hole experience, held on Saturday, March 14, had golfers engulfed with joy, as title sponsors- I&M Bank Uganda announced a three-year extension of their partnership with the series, as well as a trip to South Africa, for the cross-boarder leg.
Speaking on behalf of the CEO- Robin Bairstow, I&M Bank Chief Financial Officer- Timothy Musiime, revealed that the I&M Bank Katogo Golf Series will take this year’s cross-border leg to Sun City Golf Resort, a premier world-class golf destination located near Pilanesberg National Park, in Johannesburg, South Africa, this September.

The bank also committed to extend the title sponsorship bid of the series for another three years, sending golfers at Entebbe Club into ululation and loud cheers.
This will be the third time the series will host an event outside Uganda, after a regional leg in Kigali, Rwanda, last year, and the inaugural cross border tour that was held in Limuru, Kenya, in 2024.
“In September, we will be travelling to Johannesburg, South Africa, for another cross-border leg at Sun City Golf Resort. This promises to be one of the highlights of the season. I encourage as many of you as possible to join us as we take the Katogo spirit to ‘Msanzi,’” Bairstow’s message read.

Reflecting on the continued sponsorship, Musiime noted that the bank remains committed to building on the progress thus far.
“We are here to stay. We are committing another next three years, all the way to 2029” he said, as the audience cheered on.
“And I can assure you that during the next three years, things are only going to get better and better. We look forward to growing the series further, create more memorable experiences with you, and continue to strengthen the Katogo spirit and community.”
Musiime also revealed that I&M Bank supported Entebbe Club to acquire green mowers, that will ease the maintenance of the course.
“We are sure this equipment will not only help ease the work of the course mantainance team, but will also ensure the course is always in pristine shape.”
In conclusion, Musiime also reiterated that this season, the series will have a reciprocal visit by members of Limuru Country Club, a return leg of the inaugural cross border leg held in 2024.
The return visit is expected to further strengthen the growing camaraderie and sporting ties between golfers in Uganda and Kenya.
Earlier in the day, about 196 golfers took to the greens for the season opener, playing under the ‘It’s Up To Me’ format- a debut individual competition format in the series.
Under this format, after all players teed off, one designated player in each group had to choose where they will play their second shot from, and also decided where the rest of the group must play theirs.
Moses SSebugawo (56 C/B) and Charity Atuhaire (58 nett), emerged overall winners in the men and ladies’ categories respectively. The pair was awarded a RwandAir ticket each, and Victoria Motors hampers.

In the gross category, Edgar Muzahura won the men’s event with 67, while Peace Kabasweka topped the ladies’ division after returning 70.
Other winners included Brian Katimbo (Men Group A), William Otieno (Group B), while Albert Otete took Group C.
In the ladies’ category, Phionah Namanya topped Group B with 59, while Rita Apell won Group A after returning 62.
Entebbe born seasoned amateur golfer- Morris Ongwech, sunk in a hole-in-one on hole 16, but missed out of the hole in one prize- a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, courtesy of Victoria Motors, that was strictly for hole 10.
Nevertheless, he was awarded with a set of tyres from the same company.
Winners of the weekly quiz were rewarded with Johnnie Walker Gold Reserve bottles. The brand also elevated the after-party with themed cocktails and premium bottle offerings.
The Caribbean-themed 19th hole experience, hosted by comedian Patrick ‘Salvador’ Idringi, was headlined by A Pass, who took the already animated crowd on a journey of his soulful dancehall jams.

Veteran producer Washington has revealed his list of the top 10 songs he considers the greatest he has ever produced, highlighting a catalogue that shaped Uganda’s modern music sound.

Speaking to Mbu, MC Kats revealed that the band will be performing at the new Velvet Lounge (former Komatose Lounge) every Wednesday.

Rapper Big Tril has weighed in on the ongoing copyright debate, arguing that the power to create hit songs has shifted from traditional media to digital platforms.
Responding to legislators who questioned the practicality of enforcing copyright law, Big Tril said policymakers must recognize how the music industry has evolved.
“Radio and TV don’t wield the power they used to,” he said. “They are playing second fiddle to the internet.”
For years, radio airplay was considered the ultimate breakthrough for artists, with heavy rotation on major stations capable of turning unknown musicians into stars. Television music shows also played a key role in shaping popular hits.
But according to Big Tril, that dynamic has changed.
He argues that while radio and television still play an important role, they no longer create hits but instead help sustain songs that have already gained popularity online.
Today, songs often break through platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and even WhatsApp, where viral clips and user-generated content can quickly propel a track into the spotlight.
By the time traditional broadcasters pick up a song, Big Tril suggests, the internet has already determined its success.
His remarks challenge the long-held belief that artists depend on radio and television for relevance, instead highlighting a shift toward a digital-first music ecosystem.
In that context, he argues, paying artists for airplay should not be controversial but expected, since broadcasters benefit from the audiences that popular songs attract.
Singer Deus Ndugwa, popularly known as Grenade Official, has reportedly converted to Islam, joining a growing list of Ugandan public figures who have embraced the religion.
The singer is said to have left Christianity and is now a new convert to Islam, a faith that has in recent years attracted several musicians in the Ugandan entertainment industry.
Grenade joins the likes of George William Kigozi, who now goes by Hassan Kigozi, OS Suuna (now Abdul Shakur), Viola Nakitende (now Nahia), and Fred Ssebbaale, who now refers to himself as Ibrahim.

Singer Edrisah Musuuza, popularly known as Eddy Kenzo, has spoken out about why he believes some Members of Parliament are resisting the amendment of the proposed copyright law.
Kenzo said that although many legislators understand the importance of the law for creatives, he believes some may have been compromised by powerful interests he referred to as “mafias.”
According to the singer, these groups benefit from the current disorganized system in the music industry, which is why they are allegedly working to block the bill from being passed.

Kenzo further warned that artists could resort to peaceful demonstrations if their concerns are not addressed by lawmakers.
“If the Speaker fails to understand this, we shall hold peaceful protests. Let’s all gather on Tuesday and storm Parliament to show the urgency and need for this law to be passed. Don’t just stay home sleeping thinking it’s only us to fight for you. People are badly off.”
