Long before Kanye West became one of music’s most controversial figures, he and Keri Hilson were making hit records together.
Years later, Hilson says she would happily step back into the studio with Ye.
Speaking to TMZ, the R&B singer revealed she would consider another collaboration if the right opportunity came along.
She also disclosed that they still have unreleased songs from past recording sessions.
The pair first joined forces on Hilson’s debut album, In a Perfect World….
Ye co-produced the hit “Knock You Down,” featuring Ne-Yo, and contributed to several other tracks that helped launch her career.
Since then, Ye has faced backlash over antisemitic remarks, provocative social media posts and other controversial public behaviour that cost him several major business partnerships.
Even so, Hilson said those headlines have not changed the respect she has for his musical talent.
If the stars align, she appears more than willing to create music with him again.
