Trump Media has introduced a premium subscription service that gives paying customers early access to posts published on Truth Social, including those from U.S. President Donald Trump.
The company calls the service Truth API and charges up to $100,000 (approximately Shs370 million) per month for its highest-tier plan.
Subscribers receive Trump’s posts milliseconds before they appear on the public platform, giving them a speed advantage over regular users.
Rather than target individual supporters, Trump Media markets the service to institutional clients, including Wall Street firms and financial traders who rely on real-time information to make investment decisions.
The launch has sparked debate among financial experts and ethics advocates because Trump’s social media posts have influenced stock prices and financial markets in the past.
Critics argue that selling faster access to market-moving information could give wealthy clients an unfair advantage, while supporters say the service simply delivers public posts more quickly.
Although Trump remains a central figure ahead of the 2026 U.S. election cycle, Trump Media has not described the subscription as a campaign product or a service for political supporters.
Instead, the company continues to position Truth API as a commercial product for enterprise customers.
So far, Trump Media has not announced any plans to offer the premium feed directly to ordinary Truth Social users.
